For almost a decade Siop Cwlwm have sold Severn Hospice Christmas Cards. In that time, by donating all income from these sales, they have raised thousands of pounds to support the vital work of the Severn Hospice.
Lowri Roberts, owner at Siop Cwlwm, said “We are delighted to have raised so much money for Severn Hospice, a charity which is very close to our hearts. As a family, we can never thank them enough for the care given to my late father, Hywel.”
“We are very grateful to our customers, locally and world-wide, for enabling us to support Severn Hospice by buying their bilingual Christmas cards.”
Severn Hospice Head of Retail Carla Siswick said: “Lowri and her family are such fantastic supporters of the hospice, and we are so grateful for all they’ve done for us over many years. We rely so much on community support like this, and they are a fabulous example of that spirit in action. Thank you Lowri and all your customers.”
The specialist care provided by Severn Hospice is free of charge to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness. However, for every £3 the hospice spends, £2 is dependent on fund raising.
Siop Cwlwm is a family-run Welsh shop which was established in 2010 by mother and daughter team Linda and Lowri Roberts.
